What this site is
the.ridgwell.family is the Ridgwell Family's home page: the front door to the family's other sites. There are no accounts, no forms and nothing you can submit here.
What's collected
Ordinary web server access logs (IP address, browser details, the address requested and the time) are kept by the hosting provider, Stuxedo, for a limited period, as with any website, for security and abuse monitoring. They aren't reviewed individually or shared with anyone.
What isn't collected
This site runs no analytics, no advertising and no tracking scripts, and collects no names, email addresses or other personal details: there's nowhere on it to enter any. The one thing it stores is your light/dark choice, and that stays in your own browser (see the Cookies Policy).
Fediverse lookups
The family's Fediverse accounts end @ridgwell.family. When another server looks one of them up, this site sends the request straight on to the family's own server, social.ridgwell.family, without keeping anything from it.
Other sites
Every font, script and image is served from this site itself. The family's other sites, and any site this one links to, have their own privacy policies.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask what personal data is held about you, and ask for it to be corrected or deleted. Since this site holds none beyond the hosting logs, there's usually nothing to find, but you're welcome to ask: email [email protected].
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the date below changes too, and the change gets a line in the changelog.
